Question Simrad (Anritsu) Radar Manual ?

Does anyone have a repair manual (maintenance manual) for an Simrad (Anritsu) RA772UA radar?

Or does anyone know where I can download one or even get a hardcopy (for reasonable cost).

I have the instruction manual (installation and operation) but I need at least a schematic diagram as the R/T unit has failed?

Sorry Gord, have been there already and can only find install and operation type info, not componment repair or schematic circuits

Did you search their “Self-Service” support, and/or try their Telephone Support?

Yes, but with no luck (maybe I missed something but I think not).

No yet, however past experience of distributors and/or authorized repair stations leads me to expect one of two responses:

1. I'm sorry, that unit is not supported any longer and we don't maintain the data.

2. Maintenance data is only provided to manufacturer's approved repair facilities. Send it in and we will repair it for you.

Although sometimes in case 1, they relent and say "as it is unsupported, we will let you have a copy on the quiet".

Will try that route when all else fails but I can't believe the resources of CF will let me down . Perhaps I shouldn't let bad past experience colour my intentions .

Hi Wotname,
My RAZZ2UA just went on the fritz, right now while motoring down the Strait of Georgia. Beeper no longer works. Could I also beg to be included in the share?
