Stengel Ballast

OK electrical wizards. Need a new ballast and Germany won’t reply. The light is a Stengel FR 40 24. The bulb. Philips 50 watt 4 pin, 2G11 base. The box has 50/841 on the end and we think 816987 is a Philips number.
The old ballast. Atlas 65/R2904/24B Inverter ballast . 22-30 v, 1.5-1.7 amps,440v
We could change the supply to DC 12 or AC. 120
Help. It’s our favorite galley light.

CFL are old hat
Use a 2G11 compatible led. Remove the old ballast as not needed ( yours is dead anyway )

For some reason it just started working perfectly with a new bulb...well day two..
I don’t want to loose brightness. Is there a ballast not led?
