plastimo-offshore-compass dried out

hello everybody,

my plastimo-offshore-compass-black in my fly-bridge stop working the liquid dried out any one have the same problem? it is only 6 years old.

I had my old Plastimo compass leak out all its oil over a span of a couple of months, due to some fine cracks in the sphere. It took me a while but I eventually found the right plastic glue to seal the leaks, tiny O-ring for the oil refill valve, and paraffin oil for refilling it. It held up well for nearly 4 years after my repair. However, recently I noticed that there's about 1cm of air in the top of the compass, so it looks like there's a new leak and I'll have to redo the repair.
