Future of WIFI . . . 802.22 Standard

It seems that the old spectrum for TV is being used to improve WIFI capability, which may provide sailors and cruisers better opportunities in the not too distant future.

62 miles on WIFI would open a few doors!

I can almost see it now.
Those liveaboard boats that never move will have TV antennas with a rotor on top of the mast, searching out the best wifi reception.
