Show Me Your Goofy Hat!

I got me two goofy hats to wear while sailing, show me yours!!! Now that I look at these 2 photos I posted, the one on the left (in Key West), I am liking the sailing lifestyle, and the other...I am still on this damn boat! (Crystal River to Marco Island)

Yesterday, I didnt even bother to dress, just the BVD's and only cause I didnt want paint spots on my unit, as I would of had to scrub them off, and no telling where that would of ended up.

No silly hats for me. Only plain practical headgear.

Re: Show Me Your Goofy Hat!

My favourite hat and one worn for all shore trips is covered in a series of black Jolly Rodger skull and crossbones. A monkey head decorates the front.

One of the best things sailing is no more serious clothes LOL .

Re: Show Me Your Goofy Hat!

I am loving these goofy hats. Yeah I see you sailors all the time on yer boats, sportin a cap of some kind, and I know yall got them ones JUST for sailing. The other day, I ran into a group of about 10 people, as I was walking the docks looking at boats, wearing the same red baseball caps, the were ALL snookered, and getting more snookered with drinks in their fist, and rather loud for a group of people in their middle 70's.

Re: Show Me Your Goofy Hat!

Yup! I just googled mount gay hats. Those were the hats they wassa wearing. It was during Sail Week here, right after I got here from Marathon.

wanted to look around for another goofy hat t a thrift store, but its a windy wet dink ride into town. so i just did home depot and back to the boat. got a wet/dry vac for clean up, gonna finish painting the interior, the dry tortugas next week, my puck should be here tomorrow or tuesday.
