Seafarer 31 Sloop

I've not been able to find much information on the Seafarer 31 aside from sailboatdata and a few threads with somewhat vague information about them.
I love the lines, the skeg rudder, and just about every other detail about the boat, but I do wonder about the stability. Compared to, say, a Pearson 30, it has a 38% Ballast/disp. ratio, while the Pearson has 42%. Not a huge difference, but take into account that the beam is only 8.75 feet and, for what it's worth, the draft is 6 inches shallower, so the ballast isn't hung as low.
Where could I go to find the stability curve of the design?
Stability aside, are they good boats in general? Would you take one offshore?
Thanks,
Tim
