It is pretty hard to get your email forwarded to the local bar in a third world country - or especially a fourth world country - trust me...

I am. The flames go down a notch every time Markj goes walkabout.
And then he comes back.

Venezuela!
Current Location: Golfo De Cariaco - Medregal. Sea Life had a safe voyage from Grenada to Venezuela. Its a little more dangerous at sea so precautions needed to be taken harking back to Gulf of Aen times. The good news is I am loving Venezuela and will write up a detailed account for other cruisers wishing to come here.

Re: MarkJ Missing ?
Got this reply about a week ago from acquaintances in Grenada who I had asked if they had seen his boat or knew him:
Mark is fine and in Venezuela. He didn't announce his departure for security reasons and asked me to announce it the following Monday. He followed up with a note right afterward...had a good passage and arrived safe.

I'm pretty sure there was a State of Emergency the last place he visited. Here's proof:
I think I feel a State of Emergency comin' on, myself....
