Hurricane Season

Hello all!
So here’s where I’m at. Currently in the Bahamas and starting my plan of attack for Hurricane season. Option 1 is Luperon and hang out—pretty straight forward. Option 2 is where the fun starts...Inagua, Windward passage to south coast of Hispaniola for some easting until a comfortable crossing is available to ABC Islands. Very familiar and have read Frank Virgintino as well as Van Sant. Has anyone ever taken Option 2? Advice? Suggestions?
