Wow! This thread is almost growing faster than I can read it!

Since no one else has said this, I do hereby grant Willow ABSOLUTE IMMUNITY as she requested. Of course that only applies to my posts since that is all I really can control. For all others, use the "Report" or "Ignore" buttons.

You can ignore a thread by selecting ignore from the thread tools drop down (at the top of the thread)

You can ignore other posters via the ignore tools in your user CP. Scroll all the way to the bottom to see Ignore Manager on the left side.

You can ignore an entire forum (subject area) by opening that forum and selecting ignore from the forum tools drop down menu.

You can ignore the entire Cruisers Forum by logging off - but we would sorely miss you...

And it is competing with my "cute-feel good thread", pictures of cruising kids. I started it after my last 3 threads went over 700 posts, which normally is a good thing, but in my case, went off topic and into arguments. So I started a thread that unless you are W.C. Fields, should generate zero negative replies.

Give it a try for that warm and fuzzy feeling....

http://www.cruisersforum.com/forums/...-me-75531.html

Now THIS is what you call a thread hijack. lol

PS, if you have posted pictures of your kids that then randomly appear on the forum's header, go to that thread and claim your kids. If not, post them.

Re: Female sailor's request for ABSOLUTE IMMUNITY

As ‘ ya all ‘ can imagine, I am feeling a ‘ tad’ bit pressured, picking the ‘ first’ question I want to post. Not to mention laying the groundwork has been 'exhausting’. It's coming, the question, that is, but I damn well better make sure it is a question that has never been asked in the history of CF……. !

People make comparisons about other forums. Something you should know about me is that I am actually not a big Internet consumer, thus I don’t have the ‘ data’ to draw upon. It gets worse! I am a firm believer that having wireless means, ‘I can share with my neighbor ‘, so, if I don’t respond quickly, it’s their fault!

True, I am a B- 40 owner, but with distinction. That little savings = ‘ boat maintance'

If truth be told, I have had a ‘ grand’ laugh, many a time with the likes of David o Jersery. We actually share a similar sense of humor. I am a Maritimer who is an Accidental Tourist living in Quebec.

For thoses who don’t know, that means it is part of my heritage to make fun of myself, the ironies of life & make fun of EVERYONE & his DOG. We do not discriminate on gender, socio-economic status, age or otherwise. It is what it is.

The point which ' I think' got missed, was that ‘ I can dish it out as good as any man’, & when I did…not a lot of men were ‘ laughing ’ Anytime, anywhere, you want to ‘ talk’ about the male/female traits in tandem, I am GAME.

If it was not obvious from post, I too, agree with DAVID O Jersey, I am a firm believer of calling: A SPADE A SPADE.

This is actually been a lot of fun. I have had a great laugh (I am being sincere) I go in between thinking, ‘ Hell, no wonder there is so much conflict in the world’; to thinking, no big mystery as to why the divorce rate is high.

Really, having just had ACL surgery, (stuck inside ) it’s tough when you are use to being active. ) Not to mention I live in a French milieu as an Anglo who speaks French only in the present tense; so I have been suffering a little social deprivation tooo! ' No worries', laughter its good for the soul.

I may change my user name but not to become gender neutral
(My interaction would blow my cover, anyway) but because it is very disconcerting when people call me Willow, that’s my daughter’s name……..

P.s.

Maybe I could ease into the question ‘ thing’ by throwing it out there, ‘ Oh, what ‘ ‘new’ user name would you pick for me? ‘ LOL

Re: Female sailor's request for ABSOLUTE IMMUNITY

Hadn't noticed the ignore thread function. That will come in handy since I use the recent discussions list on the right for my forum browsing tool.

Thought about asking if that list could be a little longer, but ignoring some of the nonsense threads will help just as well.

Something could be wrong with my sense of humor, but I rarely even get the point of the humor.
