Electric Drives

In researching electric drives for a 50' cat I always liked the concept of the system developed by African Cat called Green Motion
GREEN MOTION: electric, fossil free, marine drive, and propulsion system
where the drives pivoted out of the water mounting above the water line. Are they still in business?
Of course batteries alone or in conjunction with a generator could be used.

Are there any other systems that can be retracted from the water, can be used as a water generator, retracted for zero drag while mounting above the water line?

Re: Electric Drives

Those are the only ones I've ever seen using the concept.
