It has nothing to do with science it's just a political lawsuit to draw attention and it looks like it worked

And now that the politicians are no longer controlling climate science they are even talking about the beginning of a negative feedback loop.

I once read that 90% of the world's attorneys live in America, and 90% of those live in California.

Sure wish it were 99%

If that were the case . I'm hoping for the San Andreas fault to cure that one. ( California Island)

This court case if nothing else will help to expose what big oil has know and when they knew it.
Except, when you dig into it it's no where close to 99% of independent scientists. It just that one side has paid for more scientists (there's a lot of money to be made with global warming).

More importantly, no one is really claiming climate doesn't change (another misleading tactic), climate definitely changes but detailing how much is natural processes vs man made and even your 99% (hey wasn't it 97%?) drops significantly.

If you take it to it's logical conclusion of what can we actually do, the vast majority of the eco-warrior scientists admit, we really can't do anything about it anyway.

I second valhalla360...it particularly struck me three years ago on a trip to the national parks in California. Everywhere were signs, placed by the US federal government, talking about climate change over the millennia. It got hot, there was an ice age, it got hot again.

This year we visited the glaciers in Argentina and Chile. While the natives WERE somewhat distressed over those glaciers that were melting, and they were able to point to the locations of the glaciers just a few years before, their stories suggested that this was natural and expected. I am not sure why they didn't understand, or maybe they did, that it is a cycle. They would point to the valley and say "over millions of years the glacier expanded and contracted, froze and melted, wearing down the mountains to create the valley and leaving this field of boulders as evidence of its movement".

So yes, climate change is likely happening. No, humans are not likely contributing (much, anyway). And even if one were to believe the "science" pushing the agenda and make changes to all of the carbon producing things humans you just have to know that a volcano would erupt and negate or even overcome everything we did.

My personal belief, as a scientist, is that the studies are all flawed and worse, biased. They have an agenda...control. If they convince people that they are responsible and can stop climate change by paying a carbon tax or changing their behavior, the ones that legislate will have that much control over our lives.

The truth about MMGW its all about control and of course money. Lots of it
Climate Crisis, Inc. has become a $1.5 trillion industry
Its a couple years old but true none the less.

Producer, consumer, and municipality all enable and all have partial responsibility. Refusal to participate by any one of the 3 would stop the end-to-end process cold.

That has nothing to do with it . These people want someone else to pay for what they have done to themselves. ( dont want to accept even partial blame )
