Boat Query

It would be interesting to see what types of boats members have. Number by brand, by keel type, by rudder type and by draft are a few of the interesting facts.

Re: Boat query

1990 Catalina Capri 16, wing keel with 2' draft. Transom mounted rudder with tiller.
1978 Ranger 28 TR, fin keel (faired) 5' draft, rudder hung under stern with tiller in cockpit. (can't remember what that is called)

Re: Boat query

2011 Bluewater 420 CC (Adams design) almost finished
42' longish fin & skeg & 6'3" draft
Displacement 26,000 lbs Ballast 10,000 lbs

After looking up the Cooper specs, I can't help noticing many similarities to Hummingway's boat. Since mine has yet to go splash, I hope Hummingway can reassure me that it is a nice seaworthy comfortable vessel.

Depends on whose at the helm

Coopers are great boats. Very seaworthy and comfortable.
