VAT

Hi I am hoping that I am in the right section to ask this question. If a boat is no vat purchased in Greece then registered to the UK but taken to Turkey would there be VAT payable to the UK after a certain period or only when the boat is brought into UK waters. This is all very confusing and we would be grateful for some advice

Regards
Julie
