SS Sailing/Rigging Knife A. G. Russel

Putting this in to give a shout out to a small knife company located in Arkansas. They have a stainless sailing knife that i really like. no affiliation with the company-- bit of background- i flipped my kayak and lost my knife-- spent two days looking for where to replace it. Finally remembered that i had an earlier version in parts in a desk drawer and found manufacturer on the blade- ordered the knife and in the order sent them a note that i had another of their knives that was in pieces- entirely my fault- i ran it through two cycles of hot industrial washing machine and then a super hot dryer with some badly stained work clothes- apparently the heat and vibration dissolved the locktite that held the bolts in the knife and it came apart- again entirely my fault. I asked them if i could purchase the hardware from them to reassemble my older knife. They responded that if i would send it to them they would repair/replace and sent me an address along with the new knife that i purchased. I sent the old one back ( i had it at least 5 years and it had seen some hard use) - they responded by sending me a brand new knife at no charge! great service and very timely. entire knife works well with both pin and blade locking open- easy one hand use- corrosion resistance-excellent- edge retention-excellent -- price is $68-- sea skorpion is model can't recommend highly enough

I've been looking for a good combo knife like that too. Thanks for the review and recommendation.

I have an AG Russel knife (not the one shown). Outstanding quality and design. If I didn't already have a marlinspike knife that I am perfectly happy with I would definitely consider this one.
