Cell phone cases

I am a bit clutsey at times. 😙. So when we got our last iPhone, I bought a waterproof, shockproof case from Lifefproof. It was pricey at about $90 dollars but since a new phone is now around $650, I thought it worthwhile.

The first case leaked water when submerged in about 2 in of water. Not a lot, and the phone was fine. Called the company and they sent a new case.

Second case was waterproof since I fell into the river and after a short swim, the phone was still bone dry.

More recently I dropped the phone and part of the case chipped away. I called to order a new part, and was told to send them a photo to verify ownership. The will be sending me a new case, no charge. It's got to be at least 4 yrs since the original purchase yet no questions asked. That's my idea of customer service.

As a caveat, the lifetime warranty only covers the case. Damage to the phone is still on you. They do give detailed instructions on testing the case when you get it for water integrity.

My phone would have died twice without this case. Two thumbs up. 👍👍
