Re: Couple and dogs rescued after months at sea

OK, Dominatrix, 2 dogs and someone who'd never sailed before... 5 months drifting... wonder what the interior of that boat looks like now....

Well if you wanted to have complete control over someone, why not do something like find someone with 0 experience sailing. Take a ton of food with you so you can drag this out. Take a year's worth of food, say that the boat broke, the flood the starter for the generator, say that the sat phone is broken and don't turn on the emergency beacon. You can then also claim things like sharks are attacking your boat (they attacked my car the other day is equally as likely to have happened).

You'll have someone who is completely dependent upon you and at your mercy for about a year. Whenever you start to run out of food, you can just rig up the sail and head west, use the sat phone, emergency beacon, etc.

That's likely about what happened. Not bad for a new member, huh? Lagoon Catamarans, if you're out there, I'll take a L50 as payment for my sleuthing.

Poor woman, she lost all her whips and chains and leathers.

Wifey B: By comparison there's a dominatrix in San Francisco who claims to make $4,000 a day.

and I am sure she pays all the taxes on that money too.
Plus she has copies of cancelled checks and names and address of all her clients.

Soon she can retire on the blackmail money, buy a boat, get a couple of dogs and a new friend and go to sea.

Wifey B: She better pay the taxes on it since she publicly announced her earnings. IRS can read.

I've known strippers who filed tax returns reporting anywhere from $80k-$120k per year of income. Some still aren't reporting all their income. Our COO worked her way through college stripping and, as an accounting major, she wasn't about to not report her income. As single, self employed their tax rate is extremely high too. IRS often does audits of "Dancers" knowing how much of their income is cash.

Of course the dominatrix is likely claiming much of hers is gifts. Whole other can of worms. There have been cases of wives suing mistresses to return 50% of all gifts in a community property state. Donald Sterling's wife went after his mistress. Said half the gift came from her and she did not have knowledge of or approve it.

Which really shows what kind of a person she was. Everyone wanted to demonize him, but seriously, someone pushed him to snap. Also, how she didn't get charged with illegally recording someone in violation of California state law is beyond me.

When you've got someone on a boat and they don't have any idea of how to work the boat, telecommunications, etc, and you're their sole means of survival, you don't need any of those.

Wifey B: Donald Sterling snapped decades earlier and merited demonizing back then.
