What is going on with iNavX?

For over a month I have been unable to download GRIB files on my iPad, getting an error message each time I try. I have informed their help person (Jim) a few weeks ago and received a prompt reply that they get the same error message, it is not their problem and they will notify the “developer”. However, nothing is done to rectify the problem!

A few days ago I emailed them again and received a reply that implied it was my fault and that all that was needed to rectify the problem was that I needed to delete the iNavX app, reload it onto my iPad and everything would work again. I followed their instructions and . . . . same problem!

I emailed the “help line” (Jim) again with no reply received.

Anybody on the forum getting the “Unable to Request GRIB (Unknown: 0)” message when requesting a GRIB file?

Yes! I hadn't used Request GRIB in a while so I assumed I was doing something wrong.

I don't even have Request GRIB as an option on the More/Forecast/GRIB screen, only Load GRIB. Under that, there's a greyed-out choice that says "Request GRIB?" which doesn't do anything. When I press any of the choices (like Surface Wind), I get the same error as you. Is this the same as what you're seeing?

Any response from iNavX yet? I'm about to go offshore and I need this to work.
