We're offloading 200' of 3/8" BBB chain because it doesn't fit in our windlass.
If the chain you want to replace is in good condition, just replace the wildcat on your windless. Will be much cheaper. Even if you need to get it reconditioned (re galvanized) it will be cheaper than new chain.

Titan chain is made by Canada Metal Products, same company that manufactures Rocna anchors.

Sadly, Maggi closed up shop a few years ago. Some of the folks who were supplying Maggi in Florida switched to Laclede chain, manufactured in the US.

Unfortunately, Laclede has had some issues with poor galvanizing (as has ACCO, reportedly). Our first Laclede chain rusted badly in just one year. The vendor did right by us and replaced it for us free of charge. The galvanizing on the replacement chain looks much better, but we’ve only had it in service for a few months, so way too early to tell how long it will last.

If on LI, West Marine will match Defender. I purchased 1/2 drum of 5/16 G4 (275') last year when Defender had a sale. Even though WM only sells by the foot, they matched the Defender 1/2 drum sale price. Saved me a round trip on the Orient ferry and the drive.

I think Maggi is still being produced though not the original manufacturer. Check here if interested for the story and status

I'm also looking to buy 200' of 5/16 or 8mm G43.
In my neck of the woods, Titan has the best prices, its made in China but to strict specs. If anyone wants to split a barrel I'm down.
Maggi is having issues of premature corrosion.
Practical Sailor did a review/test on all of them, worth taking a look.

I take it a wildcat is another name for gypsy which the rest of the world call it.
