Thanks Jim,
Muir is a very good alternative and an excellent anchor windlass, and we have it in mind. Their manual version would be the fastest of the two (the other being RC Plath 7B), but, on the other hand - it will demand the greatest physical effort to retrieve the anchor (0,36m/rev).
Toplicht in Germany have it for a reasonable price.
Decisions...decisions...
