Rudong anchor chain

I would just like to ask if anyone has any experience with anchor chain manufactured by Rudong in China? From researching them it seems that Lofran's, CMP, chain supplied by Rocna is supplied by Rudong, tested certification, stamped, the galvanising seems to be very good and for 10mm, 100mtrs the price we have been quoted is $8.00 per mtr, seems a little cheap, anyone know of this chain supplier.

Cheers Rod.

Re: Rudong anchor chain

I learned the hard way to order one foot of chain from Chinese suppliers, and then fit it in my windlass. I've got about 250' of G4 galvanized that does not quite fit the way it should.

Nice price.
