Just started the process. Lead was removed last night. Off to get sandblasted tomorrow then in the queue for galvanizing.

How did you remove the lead?

I have treated our Spade with ZINGA and it’s certainly better the POR-15; but does need the occasional touch up.

Regalvanizing would still be the best option.

Remove the lead: with a torch. It just melts away...

I paid someone to remove and they will reinstall. Yes, they used a high btu torch to melt it out.
