Can anyone give me the specification/brand/model of the 24V dc motor used on the Ideal Windlass V5C? Or has anyone got same lying in some dark corner?

*The motor has been 'custom modified' by Ideal.

Ideal states all parts are available. 3-months ago my motor failed and I thought I needed to replace it. Ideal was barely responsive but recommended taking the motor to an auto electric shop which I did. Some internal relays had been damaged when the bonehead "mechanic" scumbag twisted the post without backing with a second wrench when removed the positive cable. $300 and is good as new.

I suspect the same. The motor's at the workshop now.
