Re: OCT Offshore Cruising Tender

yes this is 6,35mm Coosa, biaxial glass strips over all joints and fillets inside and outside, one additional layer of biaxial glass all over the outside, the bottom additionally one layer of kevlar. Selfdraining anchor locker.
Weight unfortunately 60 kg, length 2,75m, width 1,5m, but rock solid goes 22 kn with 15 hp.

If you are interested I can share the Fusion 360 files.

PS nice cat and nice YouTube channel!

I'd love the CAD files! I can't guarantee I'll build one - we kind of have a lot of boat to build already - but If I have some extra time and supplies lying around, it would be a great use for them. You did an awesome job!

Now that you built it, where you do you think you could cut weight from the design? If we kept a watertight chamber in the forward tubes, do you think we could eliminate the center seat? We don't typically row or sit on these anyway, so it seems that it would eliminate a lot of extra material/weight, but I'm not sure if the transverse strength would be compromised without that bulkhead.
