Caribe 10' RIB Air Pressure?

I recently replaced my foot pump with a west marine bottle style pump, the pump is used for high pressure inflatable floors also and has a pressure gauge.
I inflated my Caribe to about 3 .2 psi and am unsure if it is too much.
I couldn't get it to this firmness with my old foot pump probably because the hose outlet was an irregular size.
The dink is pretty firm.

I pump mine as hard as I can. Has anyone known of a hypalon dink blowing up due to over-inflation?

Yeah, as hard as you can with a foot pump is great but what I am asking is that the pump I am now using is also used for high pressure inflatables and inflates to over 12 psi.
I would be in trouble if I would "pump mine as hard as I can".

I would suggest that you contact Caribe or one of their reps.....they should be able to give you the details.........Too damn much $$$$$ to take chances with.

It's a very well put together ride, my girl, my dog and I recently did a round trip of 225 miles on the ICW for a visit to Oriental, NC to check out some sailboats.
The dink has a 15hp Johnson and we planed wonderfully in route and were beat to death on the return trip in 25 mph winds at low tide going through Bogue Sound. Of course we were heading into the wind and going very slow climbing up the little mountains of Sea for 12 hours.
The boat is about 10 yrs old and has no issues whatsoever, she was unscathed by the trip and is sitting in the water nearby as we just got back from a ride.
