Re: Traveler car - help me identify this 1994 example

Good outcome, and thanks for filling in the ending for the thread.

I've never used them, but one seldom hears anything bad about Garhauer (sp?) equipment. Seems a good choice for many semi-custom installations.

Hi there I', dealing with the same exact problem, my 1993 Dufour has the same car in a X type rail traveler. I'm prety dure the car is Goiot system, typical from French boats of early 90s. goiot-systems.com/en/home/

The brand logo is the seagull flying you can see on the side of the car.

not sure about the model but if it had 4 wheels, looks like a Goit 164-31, same as mine.

I'm waiting a new car from Pfeifer Marine
https://www.pfeiffer-marine.de/page/...wcas=1&lang=en

It seems it'ts a direct fit on the Xtrack, At least the mesurements are about the same but I will keep this thread about my work on recovering my jurassic traveler system... on a budget, maybe it will be helpful for others..

Re: Traveler car - help me identify this 1994 example

Hi guys jus a quick update about Goiot traveler car.

I managed to buy some new berings to change the original damaged plastic ones (on the right of the image)

It seems it work out great, Te car works perfectly and instead of 140 euros for a new pfeifer car I manage to fix mine old goiot fot less than 30 euros... The new stanless berings are from Koyo Japan and have the exact same dimentions as the original plastic ones. I have somewere the koyo part number for this goiot 164 series traveler car, if someone ned it just let me know and I will look for it....
