Storing removable bowsprit

We have a Selden removable bowsprit. It has to be removed when using the anchor, or rather it has to be installed when needed.

When not in use we tie it to some stanchions.

I know there are brackets that can be installed on the stanchions to hold it when not in use. Having a hard time searching for those, since I have no idea how they are called.

Pointers? references?

Thanks,
Dan

Re: Storing removable bowsprit

Look for spinnaker pole deck or stancion hardware.

Re: Storing removable bowsprit

Search "Stanchion [or Deck] Mounted Pole Chock"

eg: Forespar ➥ https://www.forespar.com/products/sa...le-chock.shtml

Re: Storing removable bowsprit

I used to crew on a Jeanneau with the Selden sprit and it used to store on the deck using padeyes. I'll attach a couple links.

It is used using padeyes. But storage is elsewhere, when I do not what it on deck.
Anyway, Previous answers were right on the spot. We are now printing a 3d model of stanchion pole chocks.
