Should I buy Lewmar winches from WM?

Just found out about the BOGO for Lewmar winches at WM. My boat has bronze barlow non-self tailing winches for the jib sheets. I want self tailing. Should I do it?

Also my current ones are #20 Bronze Barlow, so Im not sure what the equivalent size is in lewmar.

Depends a fair bit on your budget. And keep in mind that winches usually last quite a long time, if not as long as the boat. So a good pair of pre-loved ones, that are in good shape, can be a wise option.

The other question is how much of your changing winches is "want" based? Such doesn't matter much if you've plenty of coin. But said funds can always be used elsewhere too. And non self-tailers have worked for quite a few decades just fine. At least if you've got decent technique.
