I have a spreader that is damaged and needs replacement. does anyone know where I can get one. Port side spreader. thanks

See if you can find out who made the mast. When I decided to convert from rod to wire rigging on my almost 40 year old boat, I spent a lot of time and money trying to change the spreader ends on the lower spreader. Someone casually suggested that I try the mast builder. It turned out that the original boat documentation identified the mast supplier.

Emails. "Can you help me with a new spreader for my way old boat?"

"If it’s our mast, it will have a serial number stamped on the gooseneck tang."

It was there. I sent it to them and they sent new spreaders the next day.

Moral of the story: try the simple, obvious stuff first.
