LUFF length for Assymetrical Spinnaker

I've got a Harken Reflex furler (Unit 1) for my asymmetrical Spinnaker and need to replace the sail.

The length of the Torsion Rope between tack swivel and Top Swivel is 11.10 m when just straight and 11.28 m when under full tension. The luff on my old sail was 11.30 m and the sails I am offered are either 11.50 m luff (size 4) or 10.80 m (size 3).

I am worried that if I go with a size 4 and *the 11.50 m luff that the sail may not furl well because I am 20 cm longer o the luff than berore. but I'd also hate having to go with the smaller size 3 (7 square meter less). Sailmaker says the extra 20 cm luff are no problem at all for furling but he says I should ask Harken. Harken can't be reached, or bothered, or both ;-) ...

I am sure there are some folks here who have experience with this. This is my most important cruising sail and I am single hander so I want to make sure my sail furls easy. Which it did before.

I vote for the shorter luff. You don't want to get all baggy up there.
