Water Maker - Little Wonder 200 - how to

So I finally got around to depickling the LW200 water maker.

I have never used one before, and I wasn't expecting the membranes to be OK after years of pickling. To my surprise the water maker worked, but the output is a bit low (should be about 10GPH - only getting 6GPH at 800 PSI).

So anyway - the point of the post was to check a few things:

1. Once running is it ok to up the pressure smoothly over 10-20 seconds or does it need to be more incremental than that?

2. What's an acceptable TDS? We are getting 240-250 PPM consistently - off marina water no less (which is going overboard at the moment).

3. When first starting the unit each day I seem to be getting some air bubbles in the line - is this normal?

Will probably have a few more questions but this is it for now.
