Maybe it's a good time to check the support of the hose and tank. Something must have been moving improperly for the hose to find it's way under the tank. 'great that you found the problem!

Back to somewhere with wifi so I will post the picture for real this time. Definitely a crushed hose. I've worked it back into shape and it is working perfectly now.
