Fresh water pump size

Hi all,

So i think my fresh water pump is on its last leg. Its an Aquajet 3.4. We just installed a deck shower and it really does not have enough power to get any good flow to it. I'm wondering if installing a little larger pump would help with this? The pressure cut off for most the aquajet series is the same its just the flow rate which increases.... would this help the deck shower?

Thanks in advance

Yes, assuming the lines are big enough and aren’t kinked and or your online filter isn’t too restrictive.
Our pump is I believe a 5.5 GPM pump. Now it won’t flow five gallons a minute, but whatever it does flow makes for a good shower.
