Re: Anyone Using this Hose?

I got them for my boat, haven't had a chance to use them much but like them so far, got the ones with the brass fittings and shut off valves.

Re: Anyone Using this Hose?

We had the version that rolled up on a reel and was very thin.

The problem was you need good water pressure to get them to "inflate".

We were at the marine in Bonaire years ago trying to fill our water tanks with it and no water came out. The collapsed hose pinched off the very low water pressure flow.

We then switched to our non-collapsing Swan garden hose and got water flow to fill the tanks.

TIPS:

If you are a long way out on the dock, don't expect very good water flow.

If it is summer time and there is little water flow, walk the dock to make sure that kids don't have all the taps turned on to squirt water at each other. You will have no water flow if that is happening!
