We have had a number of requests for more information on the Reason, Cause and Solution to the "Slipping Cone Clutch" problem on the SD40 and SD50 Yanmar Saildrives.

In the Video we also discuss the Vent System, and the Dual Lip Oil/Shaft Seals on the Lower Gearbox. It is not related to the "slipping" problem, but it is an improvement to the Saildrive.
