Remove prop shaft from drivesaver

Ok guys, Im kinda stuck here!

Ive got to take pull my prop shaft from the drive saver to change the shaft seal (the Volvo rubber ones). Ive undone the the bolts on the drive saver and tried to pull the prop shaft out but it won't budge at all!

The tricky thing is that it has to be done in the water as Im in Indonesia and the nearest haul facility is quite a way away.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could get it out?? Ill attach photos

The "drive saver" is the red puck.
Your going to remove the 4 bolts securing the shaft coupling to the drive saver, this should allow you to pull the shaft and coupler back.
Then place a nut or small socket, smaller than the dimension of the shaft, in line with the shaft in the coupler.
Now you need to get some longer bolts, maybe 1/4 to 1/2 inch longer than the originals, and thread them back into the drive saver end, then being sure the 4 shaft coupler pinch bolts that clamp the coupler to the shaft and any set screws are removed.
You'll tighten the longer bolts until the socket is touching the shaft and the saver internally you'll see a gap there now.
If you now tighten those longer bolts using a crossing pattern, top, bottom, L side, R side, tightening pattern you'll see that your levering out the shaft, using the socket and screws, you may need to tap on the coupler to help getting it started to moving out of the coupler bore.
You may have to Change the length of the socket and bolts to continue until the coupler is freed.
Spray it down in the shaft to coupler seam with some PB Or WD 40.
If it's not moving with this method, be sure you've lined up everything well.
You may need to block the coupler so it cannot spin on you.
FYI -- you'll need to tap the shaft back on to the coupler , via a diver underwater, or very gradually with a brass hammer on the coupler, don't bang on the outer edges of the flange.
You may need a diver for the back on maneuver.

You can also just remove the drive saver, and use the transmission flange to continue the socket and bolts to remove the coupler from the shaft, that may be easier to see the process.
Then slip it back in, this also prevents pulling the threads out of the saver.
Most flanges either use fine thread bolts or are thru bolted.
This one would be using treads in the saver to bolt the shaft coupler in to place.
I f isn't moving, with adequate force, tap the coupler a bit, penetrant helps.
Don't force it too much, step back and try to open the coupler a bit at the split.
Never use steel to hammer on the flange or coupler faces, it will "divit" them and make realignment difficult.
Use brass. Wood will not transfer the strike properly.

That's a "split " coupling. Loosening the 4 Allen screws should make job easier.
