Sailing is something new in my life

Hi everyone. Sailing is something new in my life. I relocate to Jamaica few yers ago. And cant stop dreaming about sea life =)) i think all at this portal can undarstand me.=))) Now i am looking for my first boat, its a something budget 25 ft -up ; 3K-10K. USD Not shure that its good, buts its another topic)))

So mi mane question about learning and skills . Any lessons courses in Jamaica or any suggestion. i am not racer/ i want travel with family day trip and in future around Caribbean .

Where in Jamaica? Both Montego Bay and Kingston have active yacht clubs and I know of some locals who sail on the south coast.

Then I would really suggest heading over to the MoBayYC and asking around. I don't know anyone well enough to direct you to a specific person, but they would be your best local resource.
