monohull insurance

Dear Cruisersforum Community

I am still new to boat ownership, and learning fast.

I'm looking to take (liability?) insurance for my monohull (60ft), which seem to be required to be able to put my stuff on board, and to stay on the boat while in the marina in the south of France.

Which company and/or formula would you recommend please?
The sailing area will be the med, western europe, and the caribbean.

Thank you for your answers.

I doubt that my personal residence is of any importance.
However I want to sail in europe, the med and the caribbean, which might be of importance
and I intend to avoid hurricane season in the respectively areas.

It does indeed have bearing as certain insurers will not accept certain combinations of Flag and owners residence. Certain countries have bonding requirements for insurance sellers etc
