For the Captains - How to Document boat deliveries

Hey Captains out there.
I just delivered 147 boats this Spring for a local marina and would like to document them under Coast Guard rules....
I know the form... been using it for years... but this is a little different.

I delivered mostly Pontoons, Tritoons, and jet boats.

All under 50 feet and various Horsepower / sizes / wieght.

is there any way to bring them all on one form like a generalization?

Thanks in advance

Re: For the Captains - How to Document boat deliveries

Sorry I just saw your post.

The answer is no.

I teach the Masters Class and we review all of the USCG forms for about 4 hours on the first day of the class.

The USCG wants a separate Sea Service form for each vessel AND each body of water.
So if you delivery a single boat from Long Island sound to Cleveland OH (Lake Erie) you must use 3 forms.
One for Long Island Sound, one for the Hudson River and one for Lake Erie.

Last year one of my students did not follow our directions and tried to summarize his Sea Service. The USCG returned his application and he had to go to the back of the line.

Also do not forget that the USCG only count days, 4 hours count as 1 day.
So if you deliver 2 boats on the same day both only 2 hours long you can not claim any Sea Service.
Also if you deliver 2 boats on the same day both 4hours long you can only claim 1 day for 1 boat.

PS Right now if you do all the application forms correctly it takes about 2 months for the license to be issued.

I don't think I agree with this. The small vessel sea service form specifically says "body or bodies of water". I've turned in lots of sea time letters and forms for routes that covered ocean passages into bays, sounds, and rivers; to write a separate letter for a couple days at the end of a passage up a river seems a bit unnecessary (though as we all know, the USCG isn't always the most flexible...).

Definitely agree on the rest of your reply though. The coast guard system is a bit annoying for people who work on lots of different boats for short periods.

Background-I've got a 1600 ocean masters ticket, so I've had to deal with the NMC a fair bit.
