Who has or has opinions on the
ASA Weather course? Is there any actual utility to having this "certification" as opposed to just
learning on your own?
There's a course open in my area next weekend. Seems quite expensive and it's only twelve hours in the classroom. Which seems quite short for the
scope of material listed in the syllabus. Though it might be fun.
I've already purchased the
books from the Starpath course. Their on-line course fee is less than half the
ASA fee.
Just reading the
books is less than half of that. But you don't get any "certification"
