Fuel Additive

Okay, let's try going to the font of all knowledge for another dose of wisdom!

I have a 2007 Carver 42SS with twin Volvo D500 (370hp) IPS drives with 150 hours. A friend of mine recommended TECHNOL 403 to enhance effeciency and as a biocide.

I was wondering if anyone has any experience with this product, if it works as advertised or if it's just so much snake oil. I've tried going to both Volvo and the TECHNOL people (via internet) without success (neither responded) so you fine (?) folks are whom I'm forced to turn to.

Any suggestions/recommendation/ideas etc would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks a lot from Sunny South Florida!

Bear,

I don't know about the Technol 403, but based on my experience, I do believe in diesel fuel additives. I use FPPF Kill'em biocide and FPPF Cetane Booster in my Yanmar. The only times I've had fuel problems were when I didn't use them during a fill-up.
