Dinghy Cover

We are purchasing a 10' dinghy for our boat and will be using the weaver davit system. My question is does anyone know how or where to purchase a cover for the dinghy when it is stored on its side like this? Thanks!

Dinghy chaps will be better than a cover - they stay on the dinghy permanently. Dinghy covers are sold in general sizes, and often times the manufacturer of the dinghy offers one.

Other than that, a local canvas maker can do the work.

when i had a full cover for my caribe i used to have , it was unmanageable- chaps are a much better idea and cheaper---they stay on the pontoons if made correctly and keep sunoff them.... you can have them made specifically for your dink or try to find them from the dink manufacturer, which can be very pricey, as so far, i have found chaps for 200 usd made for you by a canvasman or 500 usd for from factory of dink maker. i choose the former--as they are made in whatever you wish em to be made form and color is your choice, unlike those from factory, if they still make em

We bought a cover direct from the dingy manufacturer sized to fit our tender. Looked nice, heavy duty, a pocket for a ridge pole, interior was rubber coated...

Pain in the neck to install when the dinghy was on it's mounts. Then it ripped through under snow load during last winter's storage.

On the boat davits, I think chaps are better. Over winter, I'll be using an inexpensive blue tarp.
