Cheoy Lee Offshore 38

I am new to the forum so I apologize in advance for my inexperienced questions. I am looking for information on the Cheoy Lee offshore 38. I am hoping to hear from anyone with actual experience sailing one of these classic leaky teakies. I have been the proud owner of an offshore 28 so I am aware of the potential or even guaranteed issues with the boats but would like some real world opinions on sailing qualities etc. Thanks for the help.

I have a Cheoy Lee Pedrick 47, when I bought it I found the CHeoy Lee owners group to be very helpful.
You might want to look them up and see if there's other owners of that particular model.
I haven't been on the site for some time but am sure they're still maintaining it.
