Best boat for cruising

Simi60 argument, makes a lot of sense.
I have weighed up the cost of sails, rigging etc and thought it would work out about same after a few years
Thanks to him, I'm now looking at bigger than 50ft.
It seems that the bigger you go, the more bang for buck there is to be had.

There are lightweight cats with a pair of 60-70 hp outboards that cruise at 15kn with remarkable fuel numbers.

Schionnings, Stelth etc...

What are peoples thoughts on these?
