Can I change my username?

Hey all, well I made my username back when I owned sharky, a sweet lil o'Day 23-2 that I tricked out with everything from solar to roller furling and an autopilot in order to single hand the SF Bay.

Now I'm on my boat that will last me likely 10+ years, and even more than that if I end up deciding to be a poor dirty boat bum.

Is there any way to change my username? This would be a one-time thing

Yes.

Hit the red and white triangle button to report your post to the moderation team.

Mention in the report the new user name you would prefer (make sure this is not already taken).

The other way is to go to the bottom of the page, and click on Contact Us. A writing box will pop up, and you do like noelex said, give them the new name, and it will go into the queue for the administrators. Only administrator-mods can make the change for you, so it is slightly quicker.
