Done! I've actually owned it for a while now. Made the switch a few weeks ago...where that other name is just a redirect to the new one.

already changed mine once or twice.

"Bash" was bestowed upon me by none other than Robert Perry. One of those boat guys.

But, yeah, I'm thinking of taking up "Grunzster" now that it's available.

(NO, FrankZ, don't you dare!)

Everyone knows that renaming your username will bring nothing but bad luck and make your posting experience something that you will want to forget. But what happens when, after months of searching, you find a name that you just cannot live without. Since the beginning of time, posters have sworn that there are unlucky posters and the unluckiest posters of all, are those who have defied the gods and changed their names. So, is there a way to change a name and not incur the wrath of those deities (moderators) that rule the elements? Yes, there is and this is how:

First of all, make certain that you invite everyone to the christening who is important to the new username. Since this is an auspicious occasion, it is a good time to invite ALL FORUM MEMBERS to witness and to PARTY. Distribute champagne to all attendees. Then, recite the following: "For thousands of posts, we have gone to cruisersforum to carry us and we have called them by name. These posters will nurture and care for us through perilous postings, and so we affectionately call them "she." To them we toast, and ask to celebrate (new username)." Then everybody raises their chanmpagne glasses and shouts "TO THE POSTERS OF OLD…TO_________ ( new user name)
