Greetings from San Diego

Hi,

I'm new to the forum and dropped by to say hello. After a year outfitting my dreamboat finally started sea trials last month. Early next year sailing to Ensenada, MX for some upgrades and repairs then off to Catalina Island in the spring. Then will head south to Mexico again with the Baja Ha-Ha Cruiser's Rally late October. Plan a lot of local SoCal sailing in between. Always looking for good crew and good company. Say hi. It begins...

Regards,
David

I’m a SD local and usually crew on The Muff during the beer can races. I have a power boat (don’t hate me) but always down to crew or cruise for local stuff. Let me know!

Welcome aboard David! Come on up to the Channel Islands! A guy I know named Mark just moved down there and I am guessing is still working in a boatyard. He's got a blue Pearson Vanguard. Great guy. If he happens to be working in the yard you frequent, tell him hi for me!

Re: Greetings from San Diego

I used to liveaboard and sell yachts in Ventura for the better part of a decade starting in the 80's. Thanks for the invite...after the boat is shaken down its on to MX and ports unknown. Regards, David

Re: Greetings from San Diego

Hey David! I'd love to get in touch! Where you the director of the Point Loma Yacht Club at one point? I'm putting together a fun race in San Diego with Doyle Sails and PLYC. Please drop me a message if you get this, I don't want to post my contacts details on a public forum.
