Great Exuma, Bahamas: Surveyor and Haul out

Who knows of a recommendable surveyor (and a haul-out place) close to George Town, Great Exuma? We want to buy a boat there and need the hull to be inspected (vinylester). Thanks!

The distance from George Town to Nassau isn't great. If you are serious and really believe you need a good haul out, it's probably not happening in the Exumas.

You can get hauled out at Master Harbour Marina, GT. No need to go to Nassau.

Exactly but depends on the beam, last time I hauled there the max was 21'. That was years ago but things don't change much down there

Um, where? I'm guessing you say this because of great personal experience(s).

Can you elaborate? - because I understand that shore temps in the Exumas this time of year are somewhat, disappointingly, cold. I've been told to wait until April.... Not you -

Stella Maris on the north end of Long Island. They have a large vessel haul out and mechanics who can build a vessel out of beer cans. They fix anything! Watch the tide going in.

The water is always warm year round and so is the swimming season, twelve months.
