Cruiser's perspective..If Trump wins?

Very close race so far, stock market going crazy.....Will international tensions make cruising more difficult if he wins?

Re: Cruiser's perspective..If Trump wins?

As an older person who can no longer cruise... I can think back nearly forty years and honestly can't remember any instance when US government change in policy affected cruising ground. Locales previously unfriendly and unsafe remained that way. Locales open and safe remained that way.

If President Trump invoked a number of punitive trade policies and tighter visa requirements...... Will the other countries reciprocate?
will that in turn make cruising permits more restricted?

Just wait another day. The question may be moot.

If you are ready to cash out of your 401K based on the results of this election, whoever the winner is, I may be interested in buying it. This is politics and not finance...they just hold hands once in a while.

The whole world is watching this election. Also the Senate races are getting tight. Now 46 Democrats and 47 Republicans. When was the last time that one party controlled Senate, House, and Presidency? Any one remember?

Markets don't like uncertainty.....pundits are saying that there may be a buying opportunity for awhile.

Don't think anybody's 401K is going to evaporate overnight.

As of this moment he just busted Hillary's "blue wall" by winning Wisconsin.

He just may pull this off....unbelievably.

Some aspects of cruising will be affected if the economy tanks......we can only wait and see.

Re: Cruiser's perspective..If Trump wins?

Genesis, my dear friend, you are so emotional...smile. Markets are like people in many ways...up 400 pts a couple of days ago...down 600 pts today. Markets will be around long after you and I are gone. Many people said the same thing about Senator Obama before he won his first election.

A president doesn't have that much sway on markets. I would say Chair Janet Yellen from the Feds has more sway then a president any day of the week. No matter who wins the sun will rise tomorrow morning. I have been doing stock analysis most of my adult life. Markets can be skittish and then they get back to the business of making money no matter who the Prez is...no matter how many cigars he stuck in someone's, um....or what war was started over intelligence community falsifications...

Yeah....your right Mark, but as was demonstrated in this presidential campaign..... Who has time to wait for the facts

Sitting here in the Philippines switching between the CNN & FOX coverage, I am thinking what changes this new Filipino President has invoked in just a few months.

Does make me antsy!

And mine is: it'll take a year or so for folks who did vote for him regret their choice.

Thank God, no European globalist "mess" for us. Long live the great USA.
