Lego catamaran

ok not a cruising cat, but nonetheless pretty cool. We were trying to buy a birthday gift for an 8 year old who loves Moana and we thought this was neat. DH wanted one for himself!

Neat!

I don't know if Playmobil is known / sold at your side of the pond but our kids have this one:
Katamaran mit Delfinen - 5130-A - PLAYMOBIL® Deutschland

They even have a small motor pod with remote control that also fits other Playmobil boats like big cargo ships, pirate ship, fish trawler, etc.

Really some of the highest quality toys I have ever seen, indestructable and lasts forever. Our kids still play with Playmobil stuff that my parents gave me 35 years ago.

My parents bought this one for me when I was a kid. My children played with it for years.

It seems the catt was one of these Playmobil packages that are sold for just one season. Its now out of production.

If you want one there are still a few for relatively small money:
I found one on eBay.de for 24 Euro plus shipping (commercial seller) or this one for 19 Euro plus shipping (private seller). Maybe you can get one of these sellers to ship to your location.

Or try ebay Kleinanzeigen (german ebay site like Craigslist) for used ones.

Re: Lego catamaran

I always thought Fischertechnik was the best modelling toy.

They, also, have a cat. But it's not sail, it's solar powered:

It was actually my younger brother's originally. I don't think he knows I have it. I found it years ago when cleaning out my Parents attic. I took it home and let my kids have fun with it.

Our kids are mostly grown now. I will probably give it to my first grandchild, and pass it down.
