Nassau Bahamas

Can anyone recommend a place in Nassau to leave a boat for a week in January?

Nassau Harbour Club. Very cruiser friendly.

I second this.

Peter will take good care of you. Grocery store/shopping center is directly across the street and there is a fuel dock just right down the harbor a stone's throw. Great people.

Re: Nassau Bahamas

I would say just as "safe" as anywhere else. You always run the risk of theft.... vandalism, etc..... The active captain reviews are mostly good, with the mixed in bad experiences that you're gonna have just about anywhere. I don't think there's ever a guarantee no matter where you dock.

Re: Nassau Bahamas

There's been theft at NHC even though there is security at night. If your boat is locked up you have nothing to worry about. The theft are guys that sneak aboard and steal valuables while you're asleep. If the boats locked up you'll be fine.

Re: Nassau Bahamas

Nassau Harbor Club is great. Make sure you tip the dockhands $5 apiece when you come in and they will watch over your boat like it's their own.
